Traces
The Jewish families who lived in our villages for many generations left numerous traces. Some are obvious, others blurred, forgotten or suppressed. Many are undoubtedly lost forever.
But because one only sees what one knows, we are embarked here on a search for the traces of Echzell’s centuries-old Jewish history. Upon closer look it is evident that the traces left by the Jewish people of Echzell are by no means insignificant.
